Celebrating one year Anniversary of empowering refugee youths skill development platform Scope of life.

On October 10, 2022, a beacon of hope was lit in the form of Scope of Life, an extraordinary platform dedicated to the skill development of refugee youth. Founded by ten dedicated Rohingya refugee youths, Scope of Life emerged as a catalyst for transformation within the refugee community, striving to dismantle prevailing prejudices surrounding Rohingya communities.

Fostering Change through Multimedia

Video Reports: Illuminating Stories, Changing Perspectives

One of Scope of Life's primary endeavors has been the creation and dissemination of video reports, which serve as a powerful medium for narrating the realities faced by refugees. These reports, akin to news segments, shed light on the challenges, triumphs, and aspirations of individuals within the refugee community.

Cinematic Narratives: Spreading Awareness

Another impactful facet of Scope of Life's mission is the production of awareness-based films. These cinematic creations not only captivate audiences but also effectively communicate the multifaceted experiences of Rohingya refugees. Through the art of storytelling, these films dismantle stereotypes and foster empathy.

Engaging with Social Workers: Bridging Gaps

Collaborating with social workers is a vital component of Scope of Life's efforts. By establishing a platform for dialogue and collaboration, Scope of Life aims to leverage the expertise of social workers in addressing the unique needs of the refugee community.

Nurturing Debate and Discourse: Empowering Youth Voices

Debate competitions among refugee students constitute another key initiative. By providing a platform for critical thinking and articulation, Scope of Life empowers young refugees to voice their opinions, fostering a culture of dialogue and self-expression.

English Lectures: Unlocking Opportunities

Proficiency in English is a valuable skill for refugee youth. Scope of Life organizes lecture programs, equipping students with the language proficiency necessary to access a broader array of educational and vocational opportunities.

Beyond Videos: Holistic Empowerment

Showcasing Rohingya Talent: Photo Exhibitions

Scope of Life recognizes and celebrates the artistic talents within the Rohingya community. Photo exhibitions curated by Rohingya photographers serve as a testament to the richness of their culture, while also providing them a platform for recognition.

Fostering Creativity: Drawing Competitions

For refugee children, Scope of Life organizes drawing competitions, encouraging creativity and self-expression. These events not only nurture artistic skills but also provide a platform for young minds to flourish.

Skill-building: Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders

Empowerment is synonymous with skill development. Scope of Life conducts training programs designed to equip refugee youth with practical skills, enabling them to not only survive but thrive in their new environments.

Cleaning Campaigns: Cultivating Civic Responsibility

In partnership with refugee communities, Scope of Life conducts cleaning campaigns, instilling a sense of civic duty and community pride among participants.

Parental Involvement: A Foundation for Education

Recognizing the pivotal role parents play in a child's education, Scope of Life hosts meetings with refugee parents, fostering a collaborative approach to learning and development.

Lifesaving Acts: Blood Donation Campaigns

In a bid to inspire more youths to contribute to the welfare of their community, Scope of Life organizes blood donation campaigns. By saving lives, these events exemplify the profound impact that collective action can have.

Commemorating One Year: A Collective Achievement

On the first anniversary of Scope of Life, the organization celebrated its journey alongside 40 refugee youths, a testament to the incredible progress made in just one year. Among the attendees were 30 young men and 10 inspiring young women, embodying the inclusive spirit and determination of the Rohingya community.

As Scope of Life looks forward to the future, its mission remains steadfast: to empower, educate, and elevate the lives of Rohingya youth, one initiative at a time. Through the tireless dedication of its founders and the unwavering support of the refugee community, Scope of Life stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when hearts and minds come together in pursuit of a brighter future.
